The Protection Controls 6642 flame safeguard relay is the heart of any industrial or commercial combustion system. The 6642 guards against the buildup of combustible fuel mixtures due to a flame failure or other faults in fuel fired equipment. In addition, the 6642 has interlock input which must be met in order to provide safe start up of such equipment like ovens, furnaces and dryers.

2. The 6642 can accept either UV Scanner or Flame rod for flame sensing.
3. The 6642 comes in versions for multi burner inputs, with one output. IE multiple burners can be monitored at the same time, with the output going to one fuel train.
